Fly Fishing Stars Beat the Heat Fellow Fly Fishers, Can you believe it? It has been less than two weeks since our retreat together. I hope this note finds you proud with accomplishment, smiling from your experience and still a bit relaxed. Heaven knows we’re finally a little cooler. A great time was enjoyed by everyone. From the DNR and the fish photos, to stepping into the river to fish for the first time, being on television, catching a few trout, all the laughter, hugs and tears, and actually casting a fly rod, to the friendships that blossomed, the flotillas downstream, good food - you name it – it was unforgettable. Many thanks to all the volunteers who took time out of their schedules and helped us on and off the river. They are quite a unique bunch – and memorable as well. (continued below)
